Introducing Renae Koppenhafer:

Collegiate Softball Coach / Lead Softball Instructor

We are excited to welcome an outstanding lead softball instructor, Coach Renae Koppenhafer, whose exceptional expertise is set to elevate our program. With a rich coaching background, Koppenhafer is particularly well-equipped for player development and program leadership.

• She is preparing for her first season as the Assistant Coach as well as the Pitching and Catching Coach for the UCCS softball program.

• Previously, she had a highly successful three-year tenure as the Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Utah Valley University, where she played a crucial role in developing comprehensive training programs that resulted in multiple All-WAC and All-Region athlete honors.

• Furthermore, Koppenhafer offers valuable leadership experience from her time as the Head Coach at Yakima Valley Community College, where she managed all facets of the program, including strategic planning and team logistics.

Her extensive understanding of collegiate softball, combined with her commitment to athlete development, positions her to greatly enhance the instruction and success of our softball program right from the start.
